It can be so tricky to find diapers and wipes that won’t irritate your baby’s sensitive skin. When I first had Ellie, I was using pampers swaddlers which is a super common diaper for babies, so I wasn’t expecting her to have any reaction to them. I eventually noticed that she always had a rash. No matter how much cream I put on it, it never seemed to completely vanish. I tried switching to huggies, but nothing changed.
I came across a box of diapers that were more expensive than I’d like them to be, but decided to give them a try. That was it, you guys! The everlasting rash was gone in a couple of days! I’ve tried a few different diapers, wipes and creams on my little babes sensitive skin and figured I would share my top picks with y’all, rated in order!Read more
I’ve noticed that there’s a lot of mom shaming going on lately with baby products. If you don’t necessarily need it and you buy it, you get so much hate… and it’s usually from other moms! I remember reading a comment in an online thread along the lines of “if you can’t handle using diaper cream on your finger then you shouldn’t have a baby” … ummmm lady what?! This was in reference to mommas using a diaper cream applicator and I just thought that was a little bit ridiculous. I mean, I use one of those, not because it grosses me out to use my finger, but because it’s so much easier and it spreads the cream evenly. And yeah, it’s nice to not get cream all over myself. Sue me!

Most of us have heard of mindfulness, or at least meditation, but few of us actually practice it. I didn’t realize how important mindfulness was going to be for me until I became a mother. Motherhood is amazing and I wouldn’t trade it for the world, but what came along with it was crippling anxiety.
